My family and I just watched "Dolphin Tale" for our family movie night last week in anticipation of "Dolphin Tale 2" coming to theaters September 12. I am also a blog ambassador for the movie, so I got sent a huge pile of awesome stuff to help promote the show. My kids have been doing their part by wearing their Hope + Winter shirts (seriously, it's all they want to wear), hat, sunglasses, reading the book, drying with the towel. I love the tote - it's huge and great for church. I have been well taken care of just for saying "hey go watch this movie." Really, though, go watch this movie. The first one was awesome! Such a cute tale, my kids enjoyed it (and it wasn't a cartoon - amen?!), full of wonderful actors (Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick, Jr.). Check out the new music video on Fandago of Cozi Zuehlsdorff's new song "Brave Souls" from the soon-to-be released Dolphin Tale 2. It's a pretty beautiful song and I love the movie clips embedded in it. I am excited to see this movie (although we need to see the first Dolphin's Tale!!) and my boys think it will be good, too.

Well to kick off our first day of swimming lessons 2014, I thought I'd share with you the official full trailer for the coming movie, Dolphin Tale 2. Again, this looks like such a sweet little movie about two dolphins, Winter and Hope. Check it out for yourself.

I really like feel-good movies and Dolphin Tale 2 promises to be just that. I also love movies that my children can see with me that aren't animated (love me some animation but even minions can get old!).

OK so at my Encounter weekend, God also showed me that I need to be VERY careful of what I allow into my head and heart in the forms of entertainment. That means getting rid of a tv show that has a clairvoyant in it (as a bad guy but still). That means not reading the celebrity magazines I do enjoy. That means deleting some songs off of our iTunes (luckily I have a whole list of new lovely ones to add). That also means being cautious of movies I watch AND that I allow my children to watch. I am the adult, the parent, their practical protector here on earth. They are NOT my children but HIS children that He has allowed me to parent. SO I will be more careful of things I allow myself to promote and review on the blog, too. So I give you the sneak peek into Dolphin Tale 2 (the first movie was released in 2011). I hope you enjoy it; looks like a super cute film (and I love Morgan Freeman).
