S Club Mama

My apologies for my lateness on this post but I've been busy with kids! :) Anyway, the winner of the LifeWay giveaway is I'll be contacting Whitney today to share the good news! And remember to celebrate the Good News that Christ has saved us from our sins as we celebrate Easter this weekend!

Thank you to you all for entering my "The Zookeeper's Wife" Fandago gift card giveaway. I'm excited to announce that the winner picked by random.org is.... Amanda Kaeb! I loved her answer to my question: who is your female hero? I just started listening to this book too ... While I run! What are the chances?!? So funny.  I've always admired Sabrina Wrumbrand. She was the wife of pastor, Richard Wrumbrand, during the communist take over of Romania. In his memoir he recounts a time when he was faced with the decision to support the communist agenda or stand up for Christ and face certain imprisonment, torture, and probable death (which would obviously leave her abandoned and alone to raise their son in a very scary and unstable time). He writes about how he turned to his wife and said (something to the effect of) "Sabina, I can't stand up now, you know what will become of me" to which she responds "you must stand up, for they are spit...

I do love the giveaways I host on here but it's especially fun when an IRL friend wins! The winner of the LifeWay gift card (chosen by random.org) is... Mari Carnes! A big thank you to my friend, Sarah, for teaching me how to do screen shots from my desktop! Now after almost 8 years of having this computer, I have a new skill. haha! Thanks to everyone who entered. Check back for another giveaway or book review.

Using random.org, I picked a winner for the LuLaRoe giveaway and was surprised! It came up with #1 (not a surprise as it's random) but that it was my friend, Amanda! I thought it was another friend with the same last name. I'd even told her her comment hadn't gone through (forgive me...I'm not so techy apparently). So yay! Congratulations, Amanda! I will let Kristen know you're the winner and have her contact you. Disclaimer: I've already contacted Amanda to let her know and she's contacted me back, so yay!

Whitney , you are the winner of the Hillsong movie vouchers and CD! I will contact you with more information. Disclaimer: I've spoken with Whitney about her winnings! Yay! The winner was chosen by my son who I asked to pick a number between 1-4 and he said "3." Simple.

Well, I only had one entrant for Miss Kay Robertson's Christmas novella, "A Robertson Family Christmas." Which means either my audience 1) doesn't read this anymore, 2) doesn't like Duck Dynasty, or 3) doesn't read. Hmmm all are a little disconcerting. Anyway, the winner is actually my mom. It may look like I won but she just used my email address because she hates signing up for things like a Google account. I'll take her the book on Thanksgiving.
