Super kids

Our family is definitely known for our love of superheroes and Star Wars so when a friend and her husband were shopping for their daughter and happened upon this adorable Supergirl outfit, they got it for our Princess. Thank you Duane and Amanda! Obviously, her brothers love it, too. The past two days I've been doing laundry like crazy and packing for everyone. Moose has a 5 day EEG from Wednesday - Sunday to determine where his seizures are coming from exactly (from his malformation/birthmark on his brain, from multiple places, from somewhere we haven't pinpointed yet). I am staying with him during the week and will switch off with Big A on Friday afternoon to come home to be with my littler two. I have never been away from any of my children for 3 days so this will be odd. Moose has such a good attitude about all of this and doesn't seem stressed (doesn't probably know to be stressed). He prayed this morning for him to have seizures so they can do his test. Wh...

November update

I love November. This is when I get in the holiday spirit. I love Thanksgiving, family gatherings, programs, Christmas music (proclaiming God's love!) on major radio stations 24/7, and putting up the Christmas tree. Moose : Our Wednesday evenings have been filled up with Christmas program practices since October. Moose has been loving new songs to sing from our "Christmas in Reverse" program. He memorizes quickly and loves music, so this has been fun for him. Tonight is their program so that update will be later this month. He also had his Veteran's Day program for school. He sang so beautifully all of these songs. And they had two showings: one during the day, one at night. I didn't think to go during the day but I hear he did a great job of reading the Cub Scout stuff. top row, third from right He had an MRI at the start of November. It was almost postponed but God quickly answered that prayer. All went very well, considering. The MRI showed a malforma...

October - we love this time of the year + a prayer request

I feel like we're finally getting into somewhat of a groove - an ever-changing, very flexible groove. Life with three kids is good. Life is good. God is good. All the time, right? Especially when you're listening to Christmas program music being sung at 6:22am from a just awoken sweet boy. I love it. Moose: We had been borrowing a soccer goal from a friend and when they took it home, we purchased 2 for our boys. Even Moose was asking to go out to play soccer (not so much this week but it's been wet). Once Squirt said, "maybe later, I'm reading" or something and I was like "GO OUTSIDE! Our sloth wants to play something, GO!" It's been good for them. They are really working on good sportsmanship. Moose does really well with this because his brother beats him most of the time. But he's a fairly good defender, just not aggressive enough to be a forward. Only one seizure this month! We had a cub scout event later that same night so we made th...
