give me some love!

We still don't know what's going on with Big A's job. I do know that we could use some serious prayer.
Do we take the Illinois job even though we'd use all of our savings to move there & not have enough money to replenish it? Please keep in mind we have a child so money is a necessity. And this job does provide insurance but we wouldn't even have enough to pay the co-pay to go to the clinic/dentist/etc. If I got pregnant or someone got sick/hurt, we'd be screwed without any savings.
Do we stay with Mr. Pessimistic although it seems he'll dump us at any given second?
Big A has been calling around about jobs all morning. It's just so frustrating to see him have to do this. I don't take it well when someone messes with my husband.
And I'll be honest, I'm scared. What if Mr. P fires us and we're left out in the cold (or rather, heat here)? I know "trust God." I get that and I'm trying. But the what ifs sneak in all over just bombarding me with doubt. I'm worried about our little family.

I will leave a picture of us on vacation to hopefully generate some comment love because I need it. Below left: Big A & Moose relax at Grant's Farm (where they keep the Clydesdale horses). Below right: Big A & Moose take their dental hygiene seriously. Bottom left: me enjoying my Bud Light at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Bottom right: Tristan enjoying his drink at the Budweiser factory (no worries, he just chugs milk).

Hey, In my opinion, you should take the job. Sure, it will take savings, and moving there will suck and it wont be the best pay, but you gotta realize the benifits to having the job. Mr. P's job isnt going to get Anthony into any good standing with his major, however, this job with the forest service will. After a few years, you most likely could transfer to a better place, or try applying for another job that requires two years experience that will pay more and be in a better place. (If you dont end up liking Illinois)

So for the future outlook, my take is.. you should take it.

And those pictures are adorable

I'm sorry the trip didn't clarify everything. And I know it's the pat Christian answer to say "trust God," but that is so true. When we are His children our lives are no longer ours, they are His. I always think of Christ's prayer "Not my Will but Your be done."

Sometimes God refines us through the process of the unknown, and in the midst of obedience to Him, He clarifies.

Please take comfort in knowing you all are being lifted up. And please keep us updated!

That stinks that things haven't quite fallen into place yet. Believe me when I say, I understand what it feels like to just be like, "God, Just tell me what to do and I'll do it!!" but still not quite have the answer. Like Ryan said... it might be good for Anthony to get a little experience in the forest services area, even if the money stinks (not to mention get him away from Mr P's negativity, and have job security). BUT that is just an opinion, only God has the answer, and even though it doesn't feel like it, soon you will too. Either way, you guys have a great adventure ahead of you! Oh, and not to write a book in a comment, but a job for me magically popped up in Auburn, and if it works out and I need to start soon, I may take you up on your offer to put in my A/C :)

hmmm, maybe you and i could band together and start our our business...it could be a cross between day care/women's ministry/and strong man competition training....? it's just a thought. ;)

you guys will figure things out. :) remember that on top of all your friends praying for you Jesus prayed for you to be One as He and the Father are One. :) i'm sure that counts for something.

love ya! call me if you need anything i can help with.
