Outside PR review & GIVEAWAY!
Outside PR is this awesome company that I have worked with on past reviews. They recently hooked me up with some sweet Ryders Hex sunglasses AND a giant sample pack of Gu products (including Gu, Roctane, Chomps, Brew) for my upcoming 10K (which is not a race but just a goal as I amp up my training for the Lincoln Half-marathon in May).
I'll be honest, I haven't had a chance to try out the sunglasses. I haven't ran outside since...October? November? I'm unsure at this point when the last time was...but I miss it! I could wear these sunglasses as every day ones but I don't want them to get scratched up like my other Ryders (that I won off of a giveaway - see? you could be like that!). And these look like running sunglasses, not fashion ones...but mostly I don't want them scratched. I've tried them on and modeled them for Big A - he likes them but these are a women's pair of glasses so too small for his face.
Ryders is celebrating their 25th anniversary!! Congratulations! Look at these sweet sunglasses made especially for this occasion 20FIVE.
I probably have not needed Gu on any recent runs, but I wanted to try it. I'd never tried anything Gu before...except maybe Chomps in my first half training. Anyway, I now have tried the (new) Cherry Limeade, Espresso, Vanilla Bean (my fav) Gus. I'm saving the Roctane for when I actually have a long run. I did try their electrolyte brew drink in Blueberry Pomegranate - I may possibly buy stock in this. It's fantastic! And it doesn't leave the yucky aftertaste like Gatorade or Powerade. Yum. I really like this Gu stuff and can't wait to use it for my longer runs but for now I'm enjoying the small jolt of energy it brings during my mid-afternoon workout sessions!
But I have even better news! I get to give one of you lucky readers the same thing! A pair of Ryders sunglasses and the sampler pack from Gu - all from our friends at Outside PR. How do you enter?

those shades look pretty nifty to me!
I follow your blog on fb
I saw their anniversary shades and can remember people wearing ones like that. Talk about flashbacks!
Oh and I just picked up some Chomps to try for a long bike ride!
