party poopers

Since one person read my last post (or at least only one commented), let me just tell you that
my baby
is rolling over!
That's right folks, he's mobile.
Sort of. He only did it once but he'll do it again.

Alas, my joy is clouded by my confusion (not really but read on).
I have NO IDEA what to get Big A for Christmas.

Every year, I get him a book.
The man doesn't read. I do.

I just have no idea. And he (like everyone else) always says "I don't know" when you ask.

What to do? I really don't want to get him another book (although I did find a father/son book but it's from the boys so it doesn't count).

What are you getting your husbands (or fathers, boyfriends, men in your life)?
Are they outdoorsy? Husker fans? Fitness buffs?

Well, you can't go wrong with gift card to Dick's I suppose!
Every year it's the same thing...I have no idea what to buy. When I do, he usually returns it anyway.

Did you get new professional pics? I like them!

well, i have little money... i am dating Big-D again, and i was trying to think of what to get him... especially because his Bday is THIS FRIDAY! So - for his bday, I got him a sweater. It just so happens to have stripes of both our fav colors. My fav color is choc brown & his is blue. Ok - so, now for christmas. I am highlighting my fav moments spent with him... most of them dates, but not all. Anyway, I am choosing little things that are symbols of those moments and wrapping them and numbering them in the order he is to open them in. on each little individual gift I am writing a note about the favorite moment. So, one example is going to Jackson Hole with him last year. We had the best pancakes at Jedediah's House of Sourdough. So, I am wrapping a little thing of pure maple syrup. Then the last one I am gonna tell him is how much I love all of our "snuggle time" and I am wrapping up 2 pillowcases (even tho we aren't sleeping together--it still represents "snuggle time" to me). I am sewing the pillowcases and I got fabric with his fav college football team (BYU Cougars). Anyway... I am sure whatever you decide will be good! Good luck and keep us posted!

My husband is hard to shop for too! He is a computer systems admin, so anything computer I could get him would be WRONG. At least he has cycling as a hobby... that's somewhat helpful.

Awww well done squirt!! :D :)

I'm expecting either earrings or a anklet off my Mr this year.
He's got me jewelery every year for Christmas(I'm wondering if he will ever catch on that I don't wear jewelery!!)
Maybe one year it might be that special kinda ring that I've dreamed on since meeting him!!

I'm guessing a Husky fan is a some of sport fan?!

Jon's Mum has got him tickets to see his football team play so that's my idea on the window. so going to get him something to do with his new obsession - The Gym.
