MOB (Mother of Boys) Blog Hop

Hi MOB Society! I am Randi aka S Club Mama. On the S Club 4 blog you will find posts about God/faith, motherhood, autism, silly boys, and reviews and giveaways (right now I'm giving away a MyMiBelle Pacifier Pocket! This is a super useful product if you have a pacifier baby or as a shower gift!).

I am a SAHM of two young boys. I enjoy reading (I majored in English in college), watching movies (just saw Captain America & Harry Potter at a drive-in!), and running (training for my 3rd half marathon in September). I'm the president of the women's ministry team at my church - so excited about our upcoming year as we strive to connect the women in our church. I've been a Christian for several years but feel like I'm really just digging deep into my relationship with Jesus Christ - it's amazing. I've been married to the best husband ever, Big A, for 5 years here in about a week. We've moved 6 times in those 4 years but finally feel like we're going to stay put in our small Kansas town.

My sons are awesome (as yours are, too, I'm sure). Moose is 4, Squirt is 2.

Moose has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He's high functioning and very teachable with such a tender heart and a deep love for cars and trains. He has a stubborn streak (wonder where he got that from?) but says the sweetest things to melt my heart.

Squirt is a very energetic fireball of a boy! He adores Veggies Tales and Elmo and doing whatever his brother is doing. He has a laugh that lights up my day and screams that are like nails on a chalkboard. They are best friends and wrestling partners for life.

The other "boy" in my life is my husband Big A. He's a man's man. Athletic, handsome, strong, godly! He just turned 27 (my birthday post for him saved as a draft)! He is working as an automation technician but has a degree in Wildlife Ecology (isn't God amazing where He directs our lives?). He loves to lift weights, run, and spend time at home. He's outgoing for a homebody, but would rather eat in than out (weirdo!). He lives for God and shows that by being responsible for this family. He's starting a Sunday School class at our church this semester; I'm so excited to see how he helps others grow in the Lord.

My sons love books! Anything Thomas the Tank Engine or Cars or Cars 2 related and they're in. Moose is just now learning to love The Berenstain Bears books - so excited to share something from my childhood with him. They also still enjoy younger books like Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Right now, we're reading out of The Veggie Tales Storybook Bible - specifically Rack, Shack, and Benny (over and over and over again). Another book we don't own but I enjoyed leading Moose through was My ABC Bible Verses.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed your "stay" and will come back again. Feel free to follow my blog via Google Friend Connect, find me on Facebook, or tweet with me on Twitter.

Your boys are so precious! Stopping by from the Blog Hop!
Yay yay yay, another marathon runner! That's it, I have to follow you now. What are you training for? I was injured all spring, so I don't think I will do a marathon this fall (although the jury is still out on that - I continue to have hopes, which are dwindling) but I am going to run some shorter races at least :-)

Your boys are so cute! I have 3 myself, all under 5.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!

What a sweet family -- I love how you described them.

My boys missed out on the Thomas books and programs, but I think they would have liked them if they'd been young enough for them.
