Kool Kids Legs (review & giveaway)

Squirt has never been a child to sit still. When he was born, he was extremely bow-legged (bad!). It is my theory that he kicked his legs straight! You can imagine what changing his diaper is like. I never understood moms who said their babies wouldn't lay still while being changed - Moose laid still like a statue! I get it now.

About a year ago, I won a pair of leg warmers for my brand-new baby boy. However, they were slightly girlie and I gave them to my precious newborn niece. Regret. Had I known what a squirmy squirt I would have, I would have held on to those. In these cooler months we're getting into (today's high? 70 degrees), I dress my children in long pants. Dressing Squirt is about as tiring as diapering him. So I contacted Jennifer with Mama Runs with Scissors to see if I could try out a pair of her Kool Kids Legs.

Aren't these adorable on his little legs? I adore them (not only because I adore everything on him) because of how much easier they make changing his diaper. Again, I'd known about leg warmers for babies and heard how great they were for changing nappies/diapers - I didn't believe it until I tried them. It really does!
I think Squirt looks stinking adorable in these Kool Kid Legs so I put pictures on Facebook.

My warning to you: people do have strong opinions about leg warmers, even darling pirate-ish ones like these. My sister and my mom hate these (keep in mind my sister is fashionable but thinks I dress like an old lady and my mom has no fashion sense). I was very taken aback by their comments (which weren't very nice, I didn't think) because I seriously think these are SO cute! Cute enough for him to wear them two days in a row this week. That's right. So if you take offense, be aware if you dress your child in Kool Kids Legs; some people won't like them. I will say that I think they would like them better if they only had stripes or were solid colors; I think the winking skulls are what make them not like them. I don't think these are only for Halloween - I really enjoy how cute they are.

Now here's some exciting news! You can win a pair (of your choosing) for your little guy/girl!

Three possible entries (one mandatory entry)! Please leave your email address in your comments because if I can't get in contact with you, I will pick another winner (sorry)! This giveaway will be open until September 30, 2010 at midnight (winner will be announced October 1).

I received a complimentary pair of Kool Kids Legs in order to write this review. I did not receive any money and this review is my honest opinion. I had a great experience with the leg warmers and the Mama Runs with Scissors company. Others may or may not have the same experience(s).

Tell you what I love about Etsy?
Well, honestly, what is not to love? The clothes/accessories are adorable to say the least. I was LOVING the Fruit Cocktail Tutu until I saw that it was sold. Darn. Personally, I love the leg warmers. Even the skull on them didn’t faze me. My favorites are the stripes and for me, the more colors the better – like the Red Stripe Crazy Baby Legs! I even like ‘Foxy Legs’ with matching Bow. CUTE! I also liked the featured item: Kool Kid Legs—Midnight Rainbow Stripes.

I encourage everyone to visit this site. The designs are all adorable and unique. And, not just for babies! I liked a few things for myself as well!
I can't imagain why they wouldn't like them! They are adorable!
I think I follow your other blog....let me fix that...okay done. Follow here now.

I love the kool kid legs with the sparrows or the ninjas on them. I love a lot of her other stuff too, but these are actually something I can picture putting on one of our boys. Everything is so cute!
