baby signs

He may not be a baby anymore, but we still use (...well, practice if not use) baby signs in this house. Sometimes it's just fun to see how much he remembers - and it's great practice for the little guy to begin learning.

awesome post! :D I started taking sign language in college and am going to finish out a sign language interpreting degree in about 2 years :D My boyfriend hasn't taken any sign but he has learned a few signs from me... he likes to fingerspell across the room to me lol :D

Wow, he is really good. I used the basics when my kids were babies. We still do it sometimes for fun. I use some signs with a friend from church who can't speak. She uses a computer to type on usually.
The signs for mom and dad always make me laugh.

How wonderful he still remembers. We used sign language a little bit when Aiyana was a baby, it really helped her communicate.

Big A is forever telling me to not say certain things on the road. Don't call me dear. Don't gasp or shout; I'll think there's a deer.   It's been so long since I've sat here at my computer and wrote something other than an email. It's been even longer since I've written anything besides a book review. It's just been a funky year or two, but I hope to be back more regularly. Hopefully with less filler (although I don't even know if book reviews are filler for me because books are just a big part of my life, but I plan to be even pickier about what I read and share now) and more about the testimonies God is teaching me in every day life.
