worst run ever

44 minutes + maybe 2 miles + really hot outside = one tired, tired, tired, tired runner.

Isn't that awful time? I felt awful. Right from the get-go, I felt out of it. I know it's been since Thursday or Friday since I ran (Big A was out of town camping with his buddies so I didn't get my long weekend run in), but you would think I'd feel refreshed.

I almost feel like I'm burning out running. I don't want to; I'm over halfway to the half-marathon. I need to start doing yoga again; it's been over a month. I don't think I'm cut out to be a hard-core runner; I get bored. With music, with podcasts - it'd be different if I had someone running with me who ran at my own pace and wanted to just talk (but walking is more conducive to talking).

Any motivators out there? I think I need a pep talk.

Sorry I can't give you any running advice. I want to encourage you though to keep going. You are more than half way to the half marathon, and you can do it! Maybe listen to some good energizing sermons while you run.

so i clicked on here thinking "surely i can think of some encouraging to say" but then i realized that the only encouraging thing i could say was that your running means a lot to me...which seems strange but it does. it's inspiring and makes me feel motivated so throw in the yoga but don't stop running because then i will have no motivating running stories to read. not so much a pep talk...but hey, it's all i got :) have a good run!

I've got nothing! Sorry! After I start, the music keeps me going. It's getting me off the couch in the first place that is my problem!

You can do it! You can you can! By the way, I love the pics on your blog header. I stopped over from Theresa's blog.

Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a delightful spot to slip off my shoes and drench myself in goodness.

Splashin,
Sara
I've heard that cross training a few days a week {in place of running everyday} can help keep you motivated!
