what's wrong with him? epilogue

The doctor called this morning (I was wondering who would call me before 8). She said that Squirt had:

campylobacter jejuni

Scary stuff but thankfully it goes away on its own.

I think he spread it to me, too. I am feeling a little better today, though.

many times blood in stool is a sign of food poisoning or other bacterial contamination. What a pain and especially on such a little guy. Hope all is getting better! Hope you don't get it!

Thank God it just goes away!!

That name rings a bell. My Mum used to do food hygeine training... I think it is one of the nasties you get lurking around the house anyhow and babies DO tend to stick fingers in mouths...
