CSN review & giveaway

I was contacted by CSN Stores to do a review and giveaway. What a hard time I had choosing the items!

If you've never been, please do check it out because it is a very eclectic store. You have a variety of things to choose from: baby cribs, wall decor, shoes, safes, toys, kitchen ware, etc. Like I said: eclectic.

The best part about there being so much to choose from is that there is something for everyone and every price range. It may take you awhile to look through the varying stores, but it's worth it when you find a gem.

I chose to review the SentrySafe Fire-Safe Security Chest. I was excited to get this safe because we'd been looking for a safe to get rather than get a safe deposit box at a bank. Our local branch of the bank we use does not have safe deposit boxes, so we would have to travel 30 minutes to get anything out of our box. That's not always plausible when you need a birth certificate or something else. I also wanted something bigger than the standard boxes so that I could put back-up copies of my CDs of pictures in there (just in case).

Disclaimer: this is not a kid-appropriate item. Please watch out for little fingers as you close the safe & do not let them play around with it - it is a heavy item. I would also store it in a safe, out-of-the-way place for safety.

This Security Chest allows us to do that. It's roomy enough for a small CD holder (I actually fit 2 snugly in there), all of our personal documents, and some family jewelry that I like to be kept safe. Honestly, I would need more stuff to fit into this box. It did come with 2 keys (thankfully because I know we'll eventually lose one).

I cannot attest to its fire & flood capacity and I hope never to do so. I did like that it comes with a year warranty and a life warranty if the box is ever damaged by fire. I think that makes this box a great deal if you have items in your home that you want kept safe.

BUY IT:
The SentrySafe Fire-Safe Security Chest is on sale right now for $27.99 (regularly priced at $65).

WIN SOMETHING ELSE:
To show the variety of items sold at CSN Stores, I decided to give away a Melissa & Doug Pound-a-Peg toy. Did you have one of these when you were little? I didn't. But my cousin did and I loved playing with it.
I thought this was a great toy for any little one; kind of reminiscing my childhood (and maybe yours).

Please visit CSN Stores, look around and tell me what else you would buy (this is mandatory; all other entries will be void without this first comment).

EXTRA ENTIRES (LEAVE SEPARATE COMMENTS FOR EACH ENTRY):
I'm going to keep this simple.

1. Follow the S Club 4.
2. Comment with your favorite childhood toy.

Please leave your email address in your comment(s) unless it is otherwise easily found on your blog (you do not need a blog to enter, just a valid email address). Winners will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to reply.

Giveaway ends April 27, 2010 at midnight (central time).

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary SentrySafe Fire-Safe Security Chest so I could write this review. No monetary compensation was included. All opinions are my own and others may have differing experiences with product and/or company.

We have a fireproof safe kind of like that, but I don't think ours is quite as big... That's cool! That peg toy looks awesome, too.

My favorite toy.... probably either my LiteBrite or one of those metal xylophones that you hit with a plastic mallet. I'm sure it was as annoying as all get out.. Have a good day!
My fave childhood toy was handsdown Barbie

I have no idea which Melissa and Doug game you're talking about, BUT when Melissa and Doug products are brought up it really doesn't matter. They are such a great company and make great educational toys and games for children. They're GREAT!
