Bondi Bands {review & giveaway}
Finally! A way to keep those annoying flyaways out of my face and off my neck when I run. I've tried headbands {thin and fat ones}, braids - so many ways {except cutting off all of my locks which I'm unwilling to do. I always get so annoyed when my ponytail loosens and hair gets out and sticks to me all matted and gross.
I've been scouring running blogs to see what kind of stuff these women {and men} use: clothes, shoes, gadgets, etc. I kept coming across Bondi Bands. I was clueless as to what they were talking about so I did what any self-respecting newbie would do: I searched "Bondi Bands" on Google.
After debating on whether I was a chick or babe {as I was undoubtedly not a dude or buddy - FYI it's chick unless you're under 5}, I browsed through their headbands, wicking hats {regular, ponytail, or pigtail}, gators, and wraps {as I'm not a swimmer, I did not check out the swim caps but I'm sure they rock}. I had to email Rebecca {owner and super nice lady} to ask what the heck wicking was. It's the material that they use to make Bondi Bands that "wicks" away the sweat {now you know too}.
Rebecca sent me 2 Bondi Bands to try out for myself. I took my Chella print headband for a 30 minute run yesterday {and wore my aloe green one today for 20 minutes}. I was so excited to try it out I forgot my sunglasses!
Usually when I'm done running, my hair is gross: matted and sweaty and all over the place {on my forehead, neck, ears}. And during my run I am usually slowing to mess with bobby pins or clips, trying to tame the mane while sweats beads drop into my eyes {I am a sweaty beast}. Not this run. My hair was secure under the Bondi Band. I only messed with my hair once when my headphones moved it out of place. My brow sweat but the Band kept it out of my eyes. My hair was still a mess but I think I looked much better because you couldn't see it under the Bondi Band.
I'm still not in LOVE with running but I think that not having to worry about my hair helps me put more focus on where it should be.

I became a fan of Bondi Bands tho, cause they seem neat enough. Mainly the ponytail ones.. cause thats pretty awesome!
I didnt find a color I really liked tho, in a pattern anyway. I think the solid colors or the black/gold one that you have in your picture looks the best.. cause so many of the designs are so loud! I think if I chose one, it'd be black or white, myself.. but I think white would get stained eventually.
If theres a way to follow you on twitter without having to actually sign up for twitter, I'll enter the contest! If not, well, its still a pretty nifty thing and you are so lucky to be able to get a few free ones to try out!
I like the following:
Chica
