working my butt off

Not really - my butt is still very much present and accounted for (haha). However, I have been working out a LOT lately. From Monday - Friday, I had worked out 7 hours. I haven't gotten anything done because we were gone until supper time (and I think that's partially why I am SO tired).

I've been using the Biggest Loser DVDs I got for Christmas (Boot Camp & Yoga) and a friend let me borrow her Cardio Max (BL, too). I tried that the other day & it whomped (is that a word?) my butt, but I liked it. And then my aerobics class meets twice a day and I try to do at least a half an hour a day on the Wii Fit Plus. I like to use that to jog or free step.

For as much as my body feels I've been working out (I am SORE); that scale has not significantly moved (and we had a Valentine's Day dinner last night at church so I'm fairly sure if I had lost anything, it was gained back haha). I do feel my body gaining muscle (which is cool). I feel stronger and more flexible, too. So I'm not as frustrated as I have been, but I would like to see the scale move (you know?). To be a smaller size (out of the pluses would be lovely). Although my friend Mandy says I'm too hard on myself (which I probably am), I've explained it to Big A this way: I'm not comfortable this way. I'm not comfortable at this size, this weight. I want to feel comfy with my body.

I said all this to tell you how excited I am that I won a giveaway for the Melt It Off workout system! My friend over at Flying Giggles and Lollipops, Michelle, used one of those random number generator things (is that anywhere close to what it's called?) and it picked me! She's seemed to have some success with this, so I'm really excited to try it. Also scared because it sounds hard haha!

But thank you, Michelle! I am ready to start; can't wait for it to get here (plus, I love mail). What a great Valentine's Day gift. And, Bob Harper, don't you worry; I won't leave you forever!

Just remember that muscle weighs more. So you may be just putting on enough muscle to not see a huge decrease in weight.

Try measuring vs. weighing yourself.
I wish I looked like the girl in your picture...

Ooo Congrats! I love winning things! I think your look gorgeous the way you are! :D
Wow... with all the working out you will be seeing some great results! How your clothes fit and how you feel is more important than that number on the scale! :)

i am struggling with this. I miss working out sooo much. however, with 4 classes, a full time job and 3 kids, i only sleep about 4 hours a night as it is. and we don't even have TV! I am still trying to figure out when to do my running (which was replaced by my classes when I went back to school).

good for you, though! it will be worth it!

If you get bored or need a new workout thing, I got "My Fitness Coach" for the Wii and its amazing. Its a lot like a DVD but it has over 400 different moves to do, and can use the weights, ball, steps, and a few more I cant remember. It also adjusts to you so if its too hard you can let her know, if its too easy, you let her know.. she kicks my butt on a regular basis. Its also continuous just like a DVD.. Amazon.com has some great reviews about it and I would recommend it.. Plus the great part? Its only 20 bucks.. the cost of a DVD!
This just shows how late I am getting to my reader! I cannot wait to hear how you like it, did you try it yet?

I finally feel better, so today, I caught up on laundry and got the house cleaned up. I plan to get back on track this week. Tonight Aiyana said, "Mommy, how come you do not do your workout anymore?" She enjoys doing it with me, of course, her version of it.
