fruit: i never used to like fruit but i think it's because i never actually ate it. i liked the fruits we always ate as kids...pears, peaches, strawberries but nothing else. and yeah...healthy food is expensive...but if i buy less junk i can buy plenty of healthy food. no more little debbies for me :( oh well...it's worth it.

i would love to come visit! or for you to come visit me...though my house is definitely NOT kid friendly. i'm having de-ja-vu though...did you ask me this before? i wrote you a facebook in response but i don't think it went through (obviously?) or did i just imagine all of that? anyway...for the next two weeks i have vball on monday nights and i have a doc appt. on the 23 in lincoln...but maybe like...march 8 or 9? io think i have those days/.

  It's been so long since I've sat here at my computer and wrote something other than an email. It's been even longer since I've written anything besides a book review. It's just been a funky year or two, but I hope to be back more regularly. Big A is forever telling me to not say certain things on the road. Don't call me dear. Don't gasp or shout; I'll think there's a deer. Although these are paraphrased (and he claims he's never said the first one), these are the basis for this tale. We went to the Husker game last night. Scratch that - we worked at the Husker game last night. We helped his aunt (and her church) sell backrests as a fundraiser. Big A has done this most of last year & all of this year so far. He loves it. You sell backrests until kickoff, then you watch the game, and pick up the rests after. You're there 90 minutes before game time and for about an hour or so after the game. And you sometimes get leftover food (Runzas and hotdogs and popcorn - please fine out what a Runza is for those of you who aren't from Nebraska....it's so yummy!).
