just kidding!

We went to bed around 10. Before I fell asleep, Squirt decided it was time to wake up, screaming. Got him to bed around 11. He woke up once again, then again at 3am. We've been up since then. Lucky for me, my sore throat is back, too. Whoopie!

About half an hour ago, Big A noticed he was broke out in a rash. Called the hospital & spoke with a nurse about it maybe being an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin. Our doctor happened to be on-call and suggested we stop the amoxicillin and give him Benadryl & Tylenol/Motrin if he runs a fever.

Of course, we don't have Benadryl or Motrin. The store in town probably won't have the baby kinds and the closest place with it won't open until 9. Moose has a hair cut at 9:30 so afterward I'll get to be the luckiest person ever - driving with a cranky baby a half an hour (and back).

I won't lie; these are the days I want to be an ostrich and bury my head in the sand.

I should have called you! We were up at 4 for an hour...little miss decided she was hungry....would have been fine if I could have slept again until she got back up, but I was up for the day at 5:30...blech, I hate these mornings!

Wait a minute.. theres no sand in Humbolt! If you were an osterich, you'd just be looking for sand to bury your head in, and getting just as frustrated as you are now except without big A and two kids! (And cool friends, I wont lie there.. though if you were an osterich.. I might be able to use you as a mode of transport.. *grin*)

Oh you poor thing woman....I know those days and they are SO not fun.

Hang in there....it WILL get better.

Look into probiotics too....I've heard amazing things about them, and I just started my whole family on them.
I'm sorry. I hope things are looking up.

Thank you for visiting on my SITs day, you helped make it wonderful.
Yikes! Was it the amoxicillan? I did not have benadryl in our house when chloe had the reaction. My doctor suggested always having some around, just in case.
