no more Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with my family this past weekend. It was supposed to be a Saturday-Sunday affair, but we decided to surprise my parents and sister by meeting up with them at my sister's game on Friday night. They were so surprised - awesome! And it was a really good game at my old high school (my sister plays for the rival team - she transferred this year).

That night we opened gifts. The boys got Sesame Street characters to play with, Up! (a highly recommended movie), a drum set (from my big sister for Moose), some teething toy things & a train (for Squirt), and Thomas the Tank Engine toys (Moose). Probably some other stuff too but I have the worst memory.

I got the movie Mad Money, an ASL book (from my sister - thanks), Anthony got Catchphrase, and then my parents got Anthony and I a Wii AND the Wii Fit Plus! Holy cow, I almost cried. I thought we'd get one when they were 20 years old haha! I was so excited!!

We saw my grandma that night at her friends' birthday party. The next day we went to visit my great-grandma in the nursing home. It's just getting worse with her memory and Alzheimer's. But I still love to visit. :)

Big A & Moose napped while Squirt & I went with my parents to my sister's other bball game. It was fun to have that one-on-one time with Squirt.

Big A & I went to the movies that night. We saw Blind Side after stopping at Sonic for some dessert and Target to just walk around. What a great movie! Seriously, go see it. Or buy it when it comes out on DVD.

Today was mostly lounging and snacking (oh my parents' house is NOT good for a diet haha). Then we came home and got unpacked. Which took an ungodly amount of time.

So Christmas is over for us. Until later this year.

Wow! I am so jealous! I want a Wii and Wii fit so bad. If I did not have so many expenses coming up the first half of this year, I would totally splurge and buy one. Let me know if you like it as much as you think you well.
