thank you & a tummy conversation

Thank you all so much for your well wishes. I just had one of those days where it felt like Big A & I were bickering at one another the moment we woke up and it just didn't seem to end until later that night. Ugh! And it's all over stupid stuff, too, and that's the worst.
I feel MUCH better this morning. Even the poopie diaper didn't dampen my mood. I don't know, maybe because I got some much needed sleep (finally). I ended up getting...I don't know, heat exhaustion or something....anyway, I threw up last night around supper time. I tried so hard to stay up to spend time (better mood time) with Big A, but around 9pm, I headed to bed.
I woke up at 11:30 and was like "really?" I felt like I'd been asleep way longer. Then again at 2:30, 4, and not again until Big A got up. That's not bad.
My hips are still bugging me. I had a Braxton Hicks this morning (or at least, I haven't had another so I'm guessing it was a fake contraction).

I am so so excited about this week. Moose turns TWO on Wednesday!!! We have invited our best friends over for supper/cake. But really it's just going to be a German chocolate cake (because I forgot to buy another cake mix and we have two of these).
Friday, I will be busy decorating cakes (I'm making Big A make the cakes because he's way better at it than I am). Wonder Pets fever, here we come!!!
Saturday is his birthday party! I'm excited. I think it'll probably only be the grandparents, maybe our friends, and my uncle and possibly Big A's aunts (RSVP anyone? And LJ, I'm not including you in this; I know you guys are trying to relax so I'll have cake for you if you come, if not, I still love you). Basically that will be ice cream, cake, and gifts for the boy. And then I'll probably take him outside to "swim" in his pool. Nothing to exciting but relaxing (I hope). Oh, and we may check out some fireworks somewhere since it will be the 4th of July.

Then Monday, ultrasound and Moose's 2 year dr appt and my dr. appt. And, who knows, we may have a baby by the end of the week. Yikes!

Here we go!

Dear Baby #2,
Look, I love you and I can't wait to meet you, really. But I would really appreciate it if you could just cook a little bit longer. I'm thinking until at least after the 7th.
Why? Well, see your big brother (who is amazing, you'll love him) turns 2 on Wednesday. And we're having a birthday party on Saturday for him. I know you'd probably love to be there for his birthday, but I really do want to have this as his last lonely only birthday bash before he has to take on the responsibility of being your big brother (because that will be a big job for a little guy).
Oh, and our doctor is out of town from Wednesday until Monday. Stay put. I don't want some doctor I've never met delivering you, ok? She's great so stay put.

I bet you will go into labour that night, after Moose's birthday is over! That's what happened to me both times: #1: Nanny came down to help get things ready...that night BOOM SPLASH! (that's the sound of my water breaking!)
#2: Daddy has his last day of school and officially starts summer day after doctor's apt...OWWIE! (that's the sound of me having contractions!
So that is my official vote...right after you've cleaned up from the party and have relaxed, I bet the little one will make a grand entrance!!! LOL

I am so looking forward to hearing all about the Wonder Pets birthday party! I am seriously thinking about seeing if I can download the theme song as my ring tone. The kids would love it!

Hope baby #2 stays put until the celebration is behind you! But it's so exciting to think he or she is right around the corner!!!!

Oh.......I remember that hip pain.....and waking up all hours o the fact, when I was in the hospital with my twins, I'm convinced I got WAY LESS sleep than when they came home. And that's saying something. Here's hoping the baby stays put until AFTER the party.......and that you get some good sleep. Happy Birthday, Moose!

Sounds like things will be pretty busy/hectic there these next few days! But in a good way!!

I have the BEST OB/Gyn. LOL He was fantastic during my whole (last) pregnancy. Unfortunately, his father passed away a few days before my due date. I had to have a Dr. I never met deliver our baby. *sob* My fingers are crossed for you!!
