mom books

I love to read books about mothering by other moms. Christian or not, most of them hit the spot...mostly. However, I have yet to find a book that doesn't talk about having a career before children. I know I'm not the only mom who had kids in college. Where are the books directed at us? I think having children at that stage in my life has made me have differing needs than other moms. I never supported myself with work. I never had work girl friends, really. I only had 3 months of marriage before I got pregnant.

If you have any book suggestions, I'm open. Otherwise, maybe I'll write my own. :)

oh - i am sooooo like you. and I went to a christian church college, and in our faith we believe "family first". so - it wasn't unusual at all for married students to be raising babies at the same time. In fact it was the norm. but you're right, i have NEVER read a book about it. You write it, I'll be sure to read it. :)

Woohoo for 3 months of marriage! ;) I feel the same way sometimes. But really I don't think I'd ever change a thing. Hope you guys are doing well.

Yes, it was the tall one. I go to Tecumseh, but it is the main headquarters and the same nurses travel around to all the locations in this area. I don't blame you, if she would have said anything about Avery I would have been POed. Oh yeah, and Sara said at her last appointment they called Bristan fat too. Oh well... I suppose that is the price we pay for free food!
