sleepy

Today I am incredibly tired. We haven't been getting to bed at our normal hour, but I don't think we will again for a long time. Well, considering our normal hour is...early (we'll leave it at that).

Two more days this week & a long weekend. I'm looking forward to this weekend. I am hoping to get my family out to explore this city at least one of those days. Civil War sites and museums (and a cemetery) may not seem too interesting for some people, but for me...it's love! I don't know EVERYTHING about the CW but I learned a lot in my college lit class. I'm definitely excited to be surrounded by so many amazing things: Hollywood Cemetery where JEB Stuart is buried and Jefferson Davis (I think); the CSA White House; battlefields; Confederate Museum - can't even remember half the stuff I've read that's here. I just know it's amazing. I also think there's some Revolutionary War sites here too, which would be awesome to learn more about. I don't know much more about the RW than I did in junior high! Anyway, I'm probably boring you to death and I think the boy is bugging daddy in the bathroom...so I should intervene.

Once things settle down, I'm also hoping to find a MOPS group out here. I've looked online & there are 5 of them, so it'd be pinpointing which is close & has accomodating times. It'll be nice to have that comraderie again. And the arts & crafts, of course! jk (sort of).

Oh, and if you haven't seen the movie already, read "Marley & Me." It's a hilarious book from a great author whose dog really is something else.
I leave you with that recommendation for the day and bid you adeiu.

I was never a big fan of history but I know I would enjoy taking in all the historic sites! I hope your family gets to visit soon!

Thanks for the recommendation. I have wanted to read that book for such a long time. I need to just do it!
