really?!?!
I just finished watching the Finale Results (why not just finale?) of America's Got Talent. And really, America?!?! Neal over Eli AND Nuthin' but Stringz (sorry if I spelled it wrong)??
Ok I get this guy has an amazing voice, I just didn't realize that so many people would vote for an opera singer. Especially when Eli was so adorable (c'mon, you know I'm a sucker for baby blues) and the violinists had this amazing sound.
I guess for me, I would think about what performance I'd want to sit through for an hour and a half. That is why I never would have voted for the little 4-year-old, no matter how adorable those big ol' brown eyes are and how cute she sang. Seriously, an hour and a half of a little kid singing Disney songs...only if it were my own kid.
Personally, I wanted the Frank Sinatra impersonator to win. He was just stinking cute (again with those contact-induced baby blues).
I am glad that Elvis did not win. Sorry, he looked NOTHING like the King. However, he is going to be performing next week at my alma mater, Peru State College. Probably one of the biggest "celebrities" we've had at the Campus of a Thousand Oaks. Well, that and Dennis Haskins will be speaking on Monday night (c'mon, you do too know who that is...Mr. Belding?). Anyway, Homecoming is next week at good ol' PSC and my friend works at the college. She wants me to come to the performances (probably bc we haven't seen one another in awhile and I'm alum). We'll see if I want to feel old. We'll probably go to the parade and at least some of the football game next Saturday. I do love the campus and I still have friends there (although the number slowly decreases every year).
ANYWAY, who did YOU want to win? Or do you even watch?
