I know you love Target but...

Look at this CUTE shirt I found for Moose. Hil-arious. Big A has a strongman competition coming up this weekend (he's the 2-time defending champion). I made him a shirt 2 years ago to wear & he's worn it both times. Last year I decorated a onesie for Moose, too. But of course, this year, he's WAY too big for that. So I thought "oh I'll buy him this shirt because it makes me laugh...out loud." But no, it won't be here until October. Thanks target.com *goofy sad face*

I've just been zippin around catching up on my favorite bloggers and leaving a dust trail of blog love for all!
That shirt is really cute but I must confess that at first I thought the word "Puppies" was referring to boobs. That, of course, is my husbands fault!
As far as your sick little one - my Mom always put the vapo rub on our chests, I still do that to this day when I'm sick. I even put a little right up under my nose when I'm stuffy and can't breath. I always did the same thing for my little ones.
As for the deer incident, I'm just wondering; what does it matter what you yell? You could yell "Deer!" and it actually turn out to be a really big dog. Or you could yell "Moose" and it turn out to be a small deer. Either way, whatever you yell, whether it be an animal name or just "AAHHHHHHHHH!", he's still going to slam on the breaks, right?
Which brings me to another point. Do you like pratical jokes???

Like my friend Erin shared in her "bragging" post, I don't necessarily want to "brag" about my boys but I am overjoyed at some of their accomplishments recently! So I will share with you! Moose is doing wonderfully at school. We moved him to the afternoon classroom and his teacher said that his behavior problems that they saw in the morning have virtually disappeared. Great! Twice last week (once at school and once at Sunday School) his teachers told me that he shared with someone. What a sigh of relief that one is; sharing is so hard but to know that what I'm implementing at home is working (even the itsy bitsiest bit!) is a relief.  I've noticed that baby toys are most enjoyed by the older crowd. Moose is also reading! I got the sight word list that kindergarteners start off with from his teacher - he read them all for me this morning. I bought a Chuggington book for him on their last book order - he read it by himself after only having it read

Greater (movie review)

Sports movies are some of my favorite ones; even better if they are underdog stories! "Greater" is just that - a true underdog story about Brandon Bulsworth who could be called the greatest walk-on in the history of college football. The movie follows Bulsworth from the time he's a kid. His mother is raising he and his brother (who is quite a bit older; old enough to be mistaken for his dad, laughably). His brother gives him a kick in the pants when Brandon claims he wants to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Brandon was a heavy kid so no one really thought it would happen. However, Brandon worked as hard as he could and made it. Walked on the team and caught the attention of his coach who put some amazing work into this kid to help him become better. I love when coaches look at the heart of a player more than ability. This really is an amazing story, an amazing movie - full of inspiration and encouragement. We Choose Virtues (review & giveaway!)

I almost think I needed this Kids Kit from We Choose Virtues almost as much as my sons. I mean, check out this list: patience, kindness, obedience, diligence, forgiving, attentive, etc. I have such problems with patience and attentive (anyone else get distracted by stuff online?)! So I know that it's important to teach these virtues to my children, too (and learn alongside them).
