ER: the Final Season

While everyone else blogs about Gossip Girl, 90210, The OC, blah blah blah...my heart still belongs to ER. I love this show. I used to watch it every Thursday night with my mom. I did lose probably 4 seasons in there somewhere, but caught up last season. Plus, while I was pregnant, I caught up thanks to reruns on TNT!
Tonight's episode was really sad. We found out who was in the ambulance that exploded at the end of last season. For those of you who have DVR & have yet to watch it, I won't ruin it for you. The commercials do tell you that someone dies so I can't ruin that part.
I will say that I was kind of disappointed. Not by who died. No. But the writing. About halfway through the show, it seems like someone just stopped writing only to pick it up while in a completely different mood when finishing the episode. No one really cried real tears when so-and-so died. I understand these are supposed to be people who see death probably daily but are they really above crying for their dead friend? Made it seem unrealistic.
I don't even know if anyone else still watches this show, but check it out. I saw that Noah Wyle's coming back!!! I don't know if it's a guest appearance or for real but I'm on board. He's hot! Now...do you think they'll get George Clooney to come back? Oh that'd be SWEET!

Haven't really watched ER for awhile now... your tidbits make me feel like I'm missing something great :)

Oh, and Baby Blue just turned 2. We were going to wait for awhile longer to change her bed... there really isn't any one good time. As long as they're happy and it's working well, they can stay in the crib. That's what we were planning on, then one morning, we just kinda thought, "Hey, let's try it, if it doesn't work, we can change it back." During the days that I work, she's in daycare and sleeps on a cot, so she's used to not being in a crib, that helped. She doesn't get out of her bed! She loves it, so I guess we're keeping it that way :-)

I watched that show a few times. I don't really watch t.v. that much but when I do, I watch Little House on The Prairie re-runs, The Walton's re-runs, The Hallmark channel movies, The Animal Planet, The History Channel and HGTV. I guess that makes me old fashioned, which is pretty accurate.

- I am a HUGE ER fan (I bawled my eyes out at this episode)

9021-no, not for me.

Clooney won't be back, unfortunately. I think he's the only one who won't be (that can).

I've been an ER fan from the beginning, too. I'll miss it when it's gone.

Since you mentioned it, it does feel like the story line changed it course, but I think it may have been intentional. They want us to believe he's going to make it, then he has to go. There was definite reverence for him - I felt that completely. I think the show was emotional enough without the tears from the staff. I know I'd have bawled with that!

When Archie gave the thing to her...OMG! I almost broke.
