another one of those days

Do you ever have that weekend (or week, day, whatever) where all you seem to do is fight with your husband & get frustrated with your children (and husband)?

That was this past week and definitely this weekend. Ugh.
I. Hate. Weekends. Like. This.

We just haven't had good quality time together. No long talks. No short talks. Just winding down with tv and going to bed.

Big A is practicing to compete in the wrestling portion of the Cornhusker State Games. I'm so proud & excited of/for him! But it's taken its toll already. I look to the week ahead and think of the week behind us. Pure stress & chaos.

The past week of shots, surgery, and then him working all day Saturday made for a difficult Sunday. Monday & Wednesday wrestling practice, Friday rehearsal for a friend's wedding, & Saturday wrestling & wedding will make for an long, long weekend. Not save for its fun, but long.

And I haven't gotten a chance to catch up with my best friend this week...or did we? Sorry, Mrs. Spiderlegs, time is lost on me. I know we caught up recently but I can't remember if it was a week ago or a day ago. ha! I have not been a good friend this week, and I'm so sorry if you feel neglected. I'll try much harder.

A few hours later.

Wow, just a few minutes (ok maybe an hour or so) with our best friends helped make my day a LOT better. Now what am I going to do if they move?

Yuck! Yeah, I know when Jeff and I fight it usually goes in cycles. We won't fight at all for like 3 weeks and then there is a certain week when we will fight constantly.... (yeah, I will partially blame it on that) Since I have been pregnant it has gotten better... But you guys are great together, you will get through it! Just remember the disagreements are the temporary part (even if they don't seem like it) The love for each other and T is what is permanent. Sorry that sounds so corny. Hope this week goes better!
